What is true love?

While browsing through thestar.com this morning, I came across this headline.

'Bare your love this Valentine’s Day, female students urged.'

Attracted by the topic, especially since Valentine's celebration in university is often non-existent and discouraged, I clicked on it, interested to see what it has to say. and by the time I finish the 1st paragraph, I was thoroughly disgusted.

SHAH ALAM: Female students in higher-learning institutes here are being persuaded not to wear panties on Valentine’s Day as an expression of true love for their boyfriends. more

When they say the students are urged to bare their love, I didn't expect that it's exactly what they are asked to do, literally. One question though,

What the heck does this have to do with true love!?
